Cobb County Pro Rodeo Atlanta Sport reviews
U2 at New Era Field
At New Era Field in Orchard Park, NY, Bono and the boys delivered the goods. The band kicked off the evening with a high-energy Sunday, Bloody Sunday. Their feet were rarely off the gas pedal from that point on, as they opened the concert with some older hits while stationed on a facsimile of a Joshua Tree that extended from the main stage. After the opening, they retreated to the main stage in front of what appeared to be an almost football field wide screen. Cobb County Pro Rodeo was able to meld music, visuals and message in an, at times, awe inspiring display commencing with the Joshua Tree album. Needless to say, their musical craftsmanship was spot-on. The crowd was treated to major hits and hidden gems for almost two hours. The highlights were plenty, and the crowd was locked in to the performance. The band wrapped up the evening with an encore that culminated with its strongest social messages of the day, with a tribute to influential women and a heart-felt version of One with a plea for unity and co-operation for all mankind as the US and the world confronts obstacles both within our control and beyond. Cobb County Pro Rodeo did what it does best, delivering a rock show packed with visual images and managing to get across its never-ending message of hope for mankind.
